SMS Program & How Opt-In Works

Program name: Adapix · Last updated: July 7, 2026

Adapix sends customer follow-up text messages on behalf of the business you contacted — follow-ups after an inquiry or estimate, appointment scheduling and reminders, and replies to your questions. Every message is individually reviewed and approved by the business owner before it is sent.

How customers opt in

You will only receive Adapix messages if you provided your phone number directly to a business you contacted, in one of these ways, and agreed to be contacted about your inquiry or appointment:

  1. In person or by phone — you asked a business for a quote, appointment, or service and gave them your number to follow up.
  2. On the business's own website or intake form — a form equivalent to the example below, including express consent language.

Example of the consent collected

Businesses using Adapix collect consent equivalent to the following before any texts are sent:

What the messages look like

Example: "Hi Maria, it's Rocco's Plumbing. Just checking in to see if any questions came up about the water heater estimate. Happy to help whenever you're ready. Reply STOP to opt out."

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately — opt-outs are honored automatically and the business cannot override them. Reply HELP for help, or contact support.

Privacy

Phone numbers and opt-in consent are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Full details in our Privacy Policy and the SMS program terms in our Terms of Service.
